F1 star ranked 15th in recent GQ best-dressed poll. Here’s why…

 

 

1. Day at the office

A key look for Lewis this season, combining tailored overalls in white/red with a bright yellow crash helmet. White and yellow is a notoriously difficult combination to pull off, but he manages it with aplomb. Accessorise with HANS neck protection system and you’ll be the most dapper chap in the pit lane.

 

 

2. Hell yes, I’m on the podium… again

Similar to ‘Day at the office’ only minus the crash helmet. This look is more relaxed, incorporating red baseball cap (it can be turned back-to-front but don’t expect the sponsors to be happy) and ‘F**k you Alonso, in your shitty little Renault’ thumbs-up gesture.

 

3. Sports casual

Subtly different to looks 1. and 2. This time, Lewis has unzipped his overalls to the waist. Very Italian, very now. Accessorise with water bottle. (Note from Ron Dennis: please ensure that sponsor’s logo on bottle is facing forward at all times.)

 

 

4. The ladies’ man

Sunglasses perched on head, plus a classic white v-neck tee (and sponsors’ logos, natch). It’s not rocket science! This look works best when accompanied by a blonde pit girl.

 

 

5. The total package

A little bit of everything, this. Perfect for long weekends/city breaks, when you want to travel light but still have the option of wearing your crash helmet.

 

I know what you’re thinking - ‘There are 14 better-dressed men than Lewis in the country?’ We found it difficult to believe too.
