Troubled pop star crashes her Merc in Los Angeles

We knew it wouldn’t take long for Britney Spears to turn up in the digital pages of Grid Crasher. Everyone drives in LA (even small children and pets), so it was a matter of time before she was involved in another auto incident – she has been criticised before for driving with her infant son in her lap – well, it beats an airbag. This time, the unhinged pop star drove her Mercedes SLK convertible into the back of a crappy 2006 Nissan, whilst stuck in heavy traffic on LA’s 101 freeway (much like a motorway, but with fewer Little Chefs).

Spears was reportedly the only driver at the scene who underwent a breath test, which she passed. The 21-year-old driver in the Nissan reportedly said that he was admiring the white Mercedes and the woman inside putting on makeup just before the accident. Damn, is it not an American right to be able to do what the hell you like in the privacy of your German automobile?
