French rally star knows how to handle a car
Sit back (or sit forward, the decision is yours) and enjoy the sublime driving skills of Sebastian Loeb on a section of the Jordan round of the World Rally Championship. The way he drifts his Citroen around corners and bends, just inches from rocks, is amazing.
However, despite looking like he might win the event, Loeb was involved in a freak collision with fellow Citroën driver Conrad Rautenbach on day two of rally, which put paid to his chances of winning. Watch a report of that incident below…
Apparently the crash was neither driver’s fault, but you can tell how pissed off Loeb was. This is how his car looked after the smash:

For the record, the rally was won by Mikko Hirvonen of the BP-Ford Abu Dhabi World Rally Team. The result moves Hirvonen into the lead of the 2008 drivers’ championship, five points ahead of Loeb.
