Does Top Gear clip give clue to Stig’s identity?

Who lives in a white helmet like this? Let’s look at the clues:

1. In the above clip, The Stig reads a copy of Metro newspaper with a story about Lewis Hamilton on the back page. On seeing the story, Stig throws down the paper in disgust. Alonso is Hamilton’s great rival and enemy - you do the maths.

2. Alonso has a home in Oxford. So does Jeremy Clarkson, Top Gear’s main presenter.

3. When Alonso took part in his first F1 test for McLaren, he wore plain white overalls and a plain white helmet. Just like The Stig.
