Democratic saviour’s first car was “tin can”
The man who would be President, Barack Obama, revealed this week that he learned to drive in his grandfather’s crappy ’70s Ford Granada (pictured). Obama told an Indianapolis radio station that it was “the worst car that Detroit ever built”.
He also bemoaned the car’s “tin foil” build quality and it’s inability to cope with speed: “It would rattle and shake. You basically couldn’t go over 80 (miles per hour) without the thing getting out of control.”
Sorry Barack - we can’t support you now, knowing that you come from a family with such horrible taste in cars.
