Schumi continues motorbike obsession

Schumi, motorsport’s man for all seasons and machines, has teamed up with German helmet company Schuberth (no relation) to create the Schuberth MS RACE crash lid. It’s described as “an extremely aerodynamic and lightweight helmet, filled with numerous technical and safety innovations”.

Translation: It has lots of holes in it and it looks nice in black and orange.

Schumi wore Schuberth helmets in F1 for seven years - in 2004, he helped develop the first lightweight carbon helmet, showing it off in a PR stunt where it was run over by a tank (albeit with Schumi’s chiselled head not inside at the time). More pics down here…
