Want to go to Silverstone on 6 July? Tough
Silverstone has announced that race-day tickets for next month’s British Grand Prix are now sold out. Adult tickets are still available from £49 for the Friday and £69 for the Saturday (child prices are half-price), but only a limited number of tickets remain for qualifying on Saturday - the Lewis Hamilton Effect, no doubt.
Richard Phillips, Managing Director of Silverstone, said: “The support for this year’s British Grand Prix has been exceptional. This is the earliest I can remember us selling out of race-day tickets.”
Phillips continued: “The British fans are some of the most loyal and knowledgeable fans in the world and we are delighted that they have shown such overwhelming support for the event.”
According to Silverstone’s official website, there are still some three-day tickets available, with prices starting at a wallet-threatening £165 (yeah, for “the most loyal” read “the most taken advantage of”). That would allow you to watch Friday testing, Saturday qualifying and the race on Sunday.
