The best pics from one long weekend
Scotland’s Allan McNish (pictured above) led Audi to their fifth straight victory in the Le Mans 24 Hour on Sunday. McNish, assisted by co-drivers Rinaldo Capello (Italy) and Tom Kristensen (Denmark), claimed a record eighth victory.
Peugeot claimed the top three places on Saturday’s starting grid, but wet conditions - for the second year in a row - handed the advantage to Audi. Jacques Villeneuve, who was bidding to win a historic Triple Crown (Monaco GP, Indy 500 and Le Mans), came second for Peugeot.

(although there’s more to be honest!)
fourth picture from the top.. Jacques Villeneuve is with team-mate Nicolas Minassian not Marc Gene..
also the final picture: “Tom Kristensen takes the chequered flag for (Peugeot).”!!!!!!
