Gosh, can you just imagine if Lewis had done that - it would have been front page news and they would have hung drawn and quartered him by now.

So it turns out Kimi pushed renowned racing photographer Paul-Henri Cahier, I’m thinking this is the picture from the incident:

Glad to see he still got a shot, I love his work.

To Jelena and Ludlow: True because Hamilton who gets away with overtaking safety cars (twice: Fuji and Monaco), and his black flag worthy start antics and who only get a little nudge for deliberately ramming the back of ~Kimi’s car, is getting the wrong end of the stick?
The media call hima a Hero when he wins. He is not and will never be as good a driver as Kimi simple.
On that photographer incident Kimi pushed him because he put his lens on his helmet when kimi was reaching for something on the ground. I was laughing a lot when i saw him push the photographer but i have to say it was fair enough.
And for the sensationalists who wrote the article: “beat down”? really? big difference between a push and a beat down i’d say…

You get in the way and step on his stuff when he is trying to prepare for a race you deserve a smack.

If someone trod on my foot while making a business call and flashed a camera in my face i would probably punch them.

You guys are idiots. It wasn’t that bad, he pushed him away from his ‘personal space’ and the photographer, instead of trying to find his balance, fell over like a football player. Just because the someone titled the article as it is doesn’t mean it’s true, he didn’t beat down anyone.

    to forza kimi:
if we’re gonna talk about black flags, then lets talk kimi and france !
    idiot.

What’s the big deal? For starters, he’s hardly the first athlete to take issue with a cameraman being too invasive. Secondly, the photographer had to expect that a driver who’s about to get in the car to start a GP might not want his equipment stepped on by someone who feels the need to be entirely too close to him. Common sense should tell you that the driver has a job to do and the media and/or spectators have no right to get in the way.

That photog got unlucky — Kimi was bending down just as he moved in to get a low angle shot. But still, how many times do photogs have to be pushed or punched when they get in the face of a competitor or a celebrity before they know it’s just not okay?

And imagine the tension, anxiety and adrenaline in the blood of an F1 driver getting ready to go into battle where lives are really at risk and multi-million dollar careers and race teams hang in the balance with every turn.

Great photo! I bet he sold that for a few dollars. At least when he rolled backwards it didn’t cost him a lens!

There is no big deal what he did… i mean honestly lewis isnt as nice as you guys think he is trust me and i think that i would have done the same if i was Kimi too….. wouldn’t you just get sick of it nearly everyday of your life there is a photographer in your face and trust me you would get sick of it too i think the headline Kimi beats down photographer now thats over the top. i mean really he didnt beat him down he pushed him there is a big difference
