The laptop that’s more expensive than a car

Ego unveiled its £10,000 Bentley laptop at the British Motor Show this week. Yes, you did read that right: a £10k laptop. Why is it so damn expensive? Well, each machine is hand-built and wrapped in custom-stitched leather, in colour schemes taken from actual Bentley models. It packs in a generous 160GB hard drive, and runs on Windows Vista.

Whoah! Rewind… Windows Vista!? Holy crack pipe, we wouldn’t play £100 for anything that runs on Vista, let alone ten large ones. But then we guess that Bentley owners are more likely than most to have £10,000 to splash on a luxury item like this.
