Lewis accepts Kovi’s car is better set-up for quali
We have just been alerted to a seemingly innocuous remark made by Lewis Hamilton in an interview with The Sun, prior to Sunday’s Hungarian GP.
Lewis said:
“Heikki’s car is easier to get a lap out in qualifying than mine. I accept that. Last year I tended to be quickest in qualifying but this year I have sacrificed a little in order to be stronger in the race.
“Over the year, I have pushed the team in a certain direction. It has worked sometimes to my advantage and at others to Heikki’s - especially in qualifying.”
It’s a very interesting statement. Is Lewis moaning, is it mind games to freak out Heikki, it it mere frankness? Anyway, Lewis went on to claim pole, comfortably, in Hungary, so perhaps his car isn’t so shabby in quali after all.
Hamilton has out-qualified his team-mate eight times in 11 grands prix, so the last thing Kovi wants to hear is that his car is better in quali than Lewis’s - it makes the Finn look like he’s not doing a good job on Saturday, when actually his quali performance throughout the season has been pretty solid.

Heikki has generally been the faster qualifier considering their fuel loads.

IT’S BECAUSE THEY FUEL HEIKKI 3 TO 4 LAPS HEAVIER IN 9 RACES OUT OF 10.

yeah…..fuk moRon and his equal treatment bullsh!t….both Montoya and Coldturd recently spoke about favouritism at McIdiots during their stints there, and dont forget dear old Alain and his problems with Ayrton…..and its well known who was the chosen one back then!!! so stop the bullsh!t moRon, and stop telling us Alonso is not allowed to say his peace about his time there!!! Why would you have a confidentiality clause in his release unless YOU have something to hide??? what a crock of shit from this blunderkid!!!!! i thought both cars were “equal” and they were both given the same equipment by moRon…..how is 1 car better for a quli lap than the other??? i think hes talking shit……..and kovalinen is never gonna beat hamilton all the time hes got a hole up his arse…..i had high hopes for kovalainen at first but he looks crap now….ha ha ha
