Ferrari world champ to feature on commemorative stamps
Finland’s postal service has commissioned a special sheet of stamps in honour of Kimi Raikkonen. The stamps will be issued next month and are part of a series to mark the postal service’s 370th anniversary. Several stamps featuring Kimi are to be produced, with confirmed images including Raikkonen in his Ferrari (see picture - that’s a big-ass stamp, no?), and celebrating on the podium at Malaysia earlier this season.
One of the sheets of stamps will be presented personally to Raikkonen at the Belgian GP next month, a day before the stamps are officially released, on Sept 8th.
Kimi isn’t the first Finnish F1 driver to get his own stamp. Mika Hakkinen also received the honour, to celebrate his world title in 1998. Check out Mika’s stamp below…
