Williams go fastest in Italy
The Formula One bandwagon has already rolled on to Monza for testing ahead of the Italian Grand Prix in two weeks time. It was the Williams of Nico Rosberg which set the pace on the opening day of the three-day test. His closest rival was Heikki Kovalainen in the McLaren, followed by Felipe Massa’s Ferrari. The aim of the session is for the teams to test out their low-downforce packages. Most of the teams are sharing the workload between their drivers with many opting to have only one in attendance at any time. Lewis Hamilton will arrive on Friday to take over from Kovalainen for the final day of practice.
