Vettel given school building honour
Well now you can. The Italian Grand Prix winner’s success has been honoured by his former school by renaming their gym after him. The Starkenburg-Gymnasium in Heppenheim has been renamed Sebastian-Vettel-Gymnasium in honour of the ex-pupil.
“We are extremely proud of him, even if perhaps we contributed not so much to his success,” said modest deputy head master Karl-Heinz Diedrich.
Going by the old cliche that form is temporary but class is permanent, the school obviously believes that Vettel is just in very good form at the moment. The name change is only temporary and pupils will soon be having their PE lessons in the Starkenburg-Gymnasium once again.
