Alonso and BMW have “different philosophies”
Bobby Kubica and Nando Alonso are mates. They regularly play poker together and make jokes about Lewis Hamilton’s rapidly receding hairline (probably). But that doesn’t mean the big-nosed Pole would want Alonso on his team.
Kubica told Bild newspaper: “I think Fernando was never convinced about coming to BMW. As far as I know him, he would not have fit. There are differences of philosophies.”
We can read between the lines and assume that translates as follows: “BMW are boring German technicians who treat their drivers like flesh-covered robots - hot-blooded Fernando would hate that.”
We agree with Kubica - BMW boss Mario Thiessen doesn’t strike us as the sort of man who tolerates outspoken drivers with a surplus of “personality”. Drivers exactly like Alonso. Whereas Kubica’s dry, analytical personality - yes, that’s code for “boring” - suits the team just fine.

No, what Kubica means is spoilt brat Alonso wouldn’t cope with not having the team revolve around him and give him preferential treatment, and Mario might not like it if he chucked his helmet around the garage and broke doors because Kubica whupped his ass again and again. Who WOULD want that tosser??

Yeah, Kubica is ugly, but Alfonso has a horrible double chin and jaw like Desperate Dan.

hey, you still look bitter with nando… he had the balls to stop a team cheating on their own rules of “equal treatment” when the britons where giving little hamster all the final “flying laps” on Q3 last year, or when by “mistake” they put used tyres on his car just going to fight for a pole or by “another mistake” they put 300% more pressure on his rear tyres… stop being so weird and start celebrating hamilton’s championship. Fernando is not fighting hamilton (this year), so you don’t need to be so defensive everytime there’s a entry with the spaniard on the tittle.
