“Look into the eyes, the eyes, not around the eyes…”
Damon Hill, who these days has the look of an amateur magician/second-rate hypnotist, has advised Lewis Hamilton to remain calm for the remaining two races of the F1 season.
“Lewis will get the job done,” Hill said (it’s more effective if you imagine he’s doing an impression of Obi-Wan Kenobi).
“The last race was a lesson and he does learn very quickly. There is no question about his speed and his ability. If he just keeps a cool head he’ll be fine.”
Wise words, Zen master, but will hot-headed Lewis heed them?
Hill also urged Lewis to take a leaf from Michael Schumacher’s Little Book of Calm: “Michael had a very cool head. He had an ability to detach himself and not let impatience get the better of him.”
