Lewis targeted online
Not for the first time, racists have targeted Lewis Hamilton. So-called fans of Fernando Alonso - not all of them support Alonso - left abusive messages on a Spanish website called Pincha la Rueda de Hamilton, or “Burst Hamilton’s Tyre”. Visitors can drop virtual nails, tacks or porcupines (yes, porcupines) on a computerised version of the Interlagos track, hoping Hamilton “suffers a puncture”.
So what, you might say - it’s a bit of fun. But it’s the abusive comments left on the site that have inevitably made the headlines. We won’t repeat them here, but you can imagine the type of anti-Lewis bile that some visitors to the site have spouted.
“Everyone in our sport will join us in condemning these abusive and hateful comments,” said an FIA spokesman in a statement that McLaren later agreed with. McLaren also admitted that their driver is “vaguely aware” of the website and offensive comments.

That turd Alonso should speak out against this, but my guess is he agrees with it or at least likes it if it messes with Lewis’ head.

Ollie, Alonso can sue me if he likes. He should publicly condemn the racism then I wouldn’t have to guess at why he doesn’t. As far as I’m aware, he hasn’t.
BTW, I said a little prayer in front of Lewis painting last night - honestly did. It was dark and I was alone with him/it. Yes, I’m mad but dedicated.

i agree with ludlow…. alonso needs to publicly condemn the racism. its sickening. spanish fans. they are racist towards black football players and then lewis hamilton (who is half white anyways)… he’s just as white as he is black technically. May God Help us, and may Obama win next week

Lewis Hamilton,
Has done alot for the sport and made many of his fans and supporters very proud of him and hs country.
The fact that he has a different skin tone should not have anythin to do with it.
He’s a racing driver end of………And a very talented one at that.
