F-Wank is a footballer of rare refinement

Our good chums at The Spoiler (your No.1 online source for football news, gossip and barenekkid ladies, kids) tell us that Chelsea star Frank Lampard is in the market for a vintage Ferrari. Take it away, Spoilers:

“He [Lampard] spent some time earlier this week checking out some vintage Ferraris at a London auction. The nippy little red number costs £3.6m, or as Lampsie may consider it, a mere 28 weeks worth of wages.”

No word yet on whether or not Lampard bought a car at the auction. If he parks an old-school Ferrari illegally outside a Fulham restaurant, you’ll be the first to know.

Right-hand drive supercar proof that Chelsea striker is staying?

Our football-loving team-mates over at The Spoiler have scooped The Drog’s flash new set of wheels. Editor Ryan Bailey takes up the story:

“So far this summer, Didier Drogba has been randomly linked to Inter, AC, Barcelona, Marseille and virtually every other European club worth mentioning. Yesterday, however, Chelsea may have been given the biggest indication of his intention to stay in the UK yet, as he had a convertible Mercedes SLR delivered to his Surrey mansion. The car appears to be right-hand drive with British plates, suggesting he wishes to stay here and pay the extortionate amount required to keep it taxed and on the road.”
