One Careful Owner
Mr B’s old Arnage T is up for grabs

Now that he spends most of his time helping to keep the Los Angeles Galaxy at or near the bottom of the MLS, David Beckham has little use for his once-beloved Bentley Arnage T. It’s the car he used to pick up his OBE from Buckingham Palace, and it is one of only two models that are pictured on the walls of the Bentley factory - the other belongs to some old lady called Elizabeth Windsor.
Becks paid £170,000 for the motor, and fitted £70,000 of extras, including folding rear picnic tables, a fridge and diamond cross handles. He also had a child seat made with ‘Brooklyn’ stitched on it, and had ‘Victoria’ stitched into the most random of places, the bit where the rear armrest goes.

Now the luxury car is up for grabs for a mere £99,000 at Motor Village in Dudley. If you have more money than sense, then get your chequebook out now. If not, enjoy some more pictures after the jump…Â

No LA honey is safe from Becks’ roving eye
Here’s David Beckham cruising the mean streets of Los Angeles, staring at young ladies from the air-conditioned cabin of his shiny black gas guzzler. Maybe he was lost and about to ask for directions?

DIRTY CASH
F1 world champ second on Sports Illustrated rich list

It’s no surprise that David “Becks” Beckham ranks as the best-paid non-American sportsman in the world. According to Sports Illustrated, he earns $48.2m a year, and all for frowning a lot (Becks doesn’t pout, he frowns), plus taking the occasional free-kick. Nice work if you can get it.
However, it’s more of a surprise that Kimi Raikkonen comes in as high as second on SI’s recently published rich list. Ferrari’s driver of choice is only just behind Beckham, on a whopping $46m. That puts the Finn ahead of the likes of Roger Federer, Ronaldinho and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Raikkonen wasn’t even ranked in the Top 20 in 2007, so it shows how much becoming world champion has done for his bank balance. No wonder he can afford to splash out on a new 70ft yacht.

DIRTY CASH
McLaren boy wonder: considerably richer than you

Lewis Hamilton is set to become Britain’s richest sports star after agreeing terms to become an ambassador for Reebok, in a deal that is reportedly worth £10m over the next three seasons. Add the Reebok cash to the rumoured £75m five-year deal with McLaren, plus other likely future deals, and Hamilton will soon overtake David Beckham on sport’s rich list.
In order for Hamilton to ink the deal, McLaren team boss Ron Dennis had to relax his team’s strict policy on external endorsement deals - Ron is a stickler for rules, so it’s a sign of his strong relationship with Lewis that he is willing to bend the rules.

Drivers Enrique Bernoldi and EJ Viso hang out with Becks

We say “hang out”, but we mean “stand next to him for two seconds whilst someone takes a photo, then watch helplessly as he walks off to find somone more famous to talk to”. Bernoldi (who has raced in F1, albeit for also-rans Arrows) and Viso, who both drive in the IndyCar series in the States, almost certainly know who Beckham is, but we doubt that he has the first clue who they are. Still, as fake smiles go, it’s pretty convincing. The three men met at halftime during the LA Lakers game against Sacramento Kings on Tuesday. Becks also found the time to check out a cheerleader’s pert ass. As you would.
No doubt Bernoldi and Viso would have also checked out some asses, if they weren’t sat so far back.
