Italian model finds love with millionaire 30 years her senior

Italian businessman is Flavio Briatore is known by most as the MD of the Renault F1 team and part owner of Queens Park Rangers. Among gorgeous women, however, he is known only as a breathtaking inferno of sexuality, on a par with the Brad Pitts of this world. This accounts for why the rotund perma-tanned 58-year-old has put away Heidi Klum, Naomi Campbell and 28-year-old Wonderbra model Elisabetta Gregoraci, to whom he is now married. I think he may have a few quid laying around, too.

Flamboyant Renault boss & missus attacked by irate tourists

Flavio Briatore’s August break took a nasty turn when he tried to go onshore from his luxury yacht. Italian newspaper La Stampa reports that the 58-year-old Renault boss and his charming new wife were pelted with water and sand (not the most painful weapons, you’d think) by angry bathers when they tried to land on the busy Capriccioli beach in Sardinia.

The aggressive manner in which they sped ashore enraged parents on the beach, while “terrorised children wailed between the waves”, La Stampa claimed. A painful image, we’re sure you agree.

Screw Wayne & Colleen, this is the celeb wedding of the year

Flamboyant Renault boss Flavio Briatore is getting married this weekend, to Italian supermodel girlfriend Elisabetta Gergoraci (see much more of her here).

The ceremony is being held in the Santo Spirito in Sassia, a 12th century basilica church near the Vatican. The big question on Grid Crasher’s lips is: will he wear his trademark blue-tinted spectacles? You go to all the trouble of booking a classy venue, then the groom spoils the effect by wearing glasses that lend him the air of a sinister children’s TV presenter. Still, Flavio’s a multi-milionaire, so he’ll do whatever the hell he wants.

Flavio Briatore scores again

Briatore, the silver-haired, silver-tongued boss of Renault’s F1 team, doesn’t date ordinary girls. He prefers to stick with his tried & trusted formula of only dating stunning models. Can you blame him?

His latest WAG is Elisabetta Gregoraci, an Italian glamour model who once replaced Eva Herzigova as the face (and chest, natch) of Wonderbra. She’s 28 years old, a mere 30 years younger than her fella. The couple are reportedly engaged, but there’s no talk of a marriage date, for now.
