Ah, the perks of being an F1 superstar. We imagine that all Alonso had to do was click his fingers and a VIP ticket for the Euro 2008 final in Vienna magically appeared on his doormat.

Nando (and his mate) opted to wear Euro 2008’s hottest fashion accessory, a crisp white shirt - as sported by German head coach Jogi Loew and Turkey boss Fatih Terim - paired with a cute Spain button badge, just in case you weren’t sure who he was supporting.

Toyota Euro 2008 ad implies Dutch footballers like to dive

They mean the Portuguese, surely?

As revenge for this clever ad, the Dutch should play a reserve team this evening, lose to Romania and therefore dump the French out of Euro 2008.

Free Hummer offered to Spanish football stars

Bookies offers gas guzzler to next Spanish scorer at Euro 2008

Maverick bookmaker Paddy Power has offered a dirty great Hummer - one of the world’s least eco-friendly cars - to the first Spaniard to score against Sweden in tomorrow evening’s Euro 2008 group match. We have no idea why they would do such a thing, apart from to whip up some more cheap PR (it’s working, evidently).

There is a catch though. To claim his prize, the Spanish player has to perform a humiliating “Chiki Chiki” dance by way of goal celebration. If you’re not aware of the Chiki Chiki dance, head over to The Spoiler for a video of Spain’s terrifying, terrible Eurovision song.
