Four new boys to choose from. Pick one…
With F1 so very competitive in 2008, which of the four rookies (we don’t count Seb Vettel and Adrian Sutil, both of whom competed in several GPs in 2007) caught your eye?
Your contenders are: Kazuki Nakajima (Williams), Timo Glock (Toyota), Sebastien Bourdais (Toro Rosso) and Nelson Piquet (Renault).

Formula 1 is a team sport, kids
Ferrari won the constructors’ championship, but does that mean they were the best team in 2008? No, it doesn’t. In fact, given the massive resources at the Scuderia’s disposal, you might even argue that they underperformed - with the best car on the grid, and two of the best drivers, perhaps they should have won the driver’s title too, as well as winning the constructors title by a bigger margin.
Looking down the grid, we find teams that punched above their weight, admirably: Toro Rosso had a wonderful season, outperforming the senior Red Bull outfit. BMW Sauber were remarkably consistent and could have done even better, had they not decided to switch focus to their 2009 car halfway through the campaign. Renault started slowly but finished stronger than anyone, while Toyota had a solid year too.
Anyway, a few names to conjure with there. What say you?

A great battle from one of the best races of the season
Did Kimi brake test Lewis? You decide.Whatever, we still think the FIA’s decision to penalise Hamilton was dubious to say the least.

Lewis, Massa, Nando, someone else? Have your say…
After one of the greatest F1 seasons of all time - in terms of drama, at least - we have one question: who’s your driver of the season? Lewis Hamilton won the title, but do you think another driver had a better season in a lesser car?

Cards on the table - Lewis or Felipe?
On Sunday, F1 will get a new world champion - Lewis Hamilton or Felipe Massa. The odds are heavily stacked in Hamilton’s favour, but then they were last season, and he didn’t get the job done.
We’re sure most of you think that Lewis will make the most of his seven-point lead and be crowned world champion, for the first time in his short F1 career. But who do you want to win the title? Vote below:
