F-Wank is a footballer of rare refinement

Our good chums at The Spoiler (your No.1 online source for football news, gossip and barenekkid ladies, kids) tell us that Chelsea star Frank Lampard is in the market for a vintage Ferrari. Take it away, Spoilers:

“He [Lampard] spent some time earlier this week checking out some vintage Ferraris at a London auction. The nippy little red number costs £3.6m, or as Lampsie may consider it, a mere 28 weeks worth of wages.”

No word yet on whether or not Lampard bought a car at the auction. If he parks an old-school Ferrari illegally outside a Fulham restaurant, you’ll be the first to know.

Check out another pic of F-Wank perusing precious metal below:

”You can keep your Ferraris, Astons and Porsches… this is how I ride.”

Translation: here’s Berby, larking about on a pitch mower in Sofia, during a World Cup-training session for the Bulgarian international team. Suits him though.

AC Milan’s Superleague Formula car unveiled to players (with video)

Footballers amazed by car painted in team colours

Listen to the childish gasps of excitement as Milan’s SF car is unveiled in front of the club’s players. You can almost see the two cogs in Ronaldo’s head moving even faster than normal: “Can I get me one of those to drive to training?”

Unfortunataly, Milan had a shocker in the inaugural round at Donington on Sunday (they also lost their opening game in Serie A). The red-and-black car, driven by former F1 also-ran Robert Doornbos, suffered a fuel leak in race one, and couldn’t be fixed in time for race two. The result leaves Milan at the bottom of the table - not a position the famous club is used to.

Cristiano Ronaldo buys £350k Rolls Royce Phantom

Man Utd star treats himself to affordable run-around

ronaldorollsroycethumbnail.jpg

Cristiano Ronaldo has celebrated his decision not to go to Real Madrid after all - not yet, anyway, but you watch him leave next year - by splashing out £340,000 (or three weeks’ wages to him) on a Rolls Royce Phantom convertible. The Phantom will replace the Portuguese star’s £140,000 Bentley Continental, which now looks cheap and tatty by comparision.

Btw: credit for this amazing piece of Photoshoppery goes to our spherical object-worshipping chums at The Spoiler. Although we doubt very much that Ron would choose it in blue.

Footballers’ cars: who owns this messy Ferrari?

Look at the state of this supercar

ferrari-1.jpg

Plastic bags, a CD, a fast-food drink cup… and that’s just on the passenger seat. That’s no way to treat a Ferrari.

So which English Premier League star has turned his supercar into a mobile rubbish tip? (Clue: much like the colour of his ride, he plays in red.)

Answer below:

Didier Drogba takes delivery of Mercedes SLR convertible

Right-hand drive supercar proof that Chelsea striker is staying?

slr.jpg

Our football-loving team-mates over at The Spoiler have scooped The Drog’s flash new set of wheels. Editor Ryan Bailey takes up the story:

“So far this summer, Didier Drogba has been randomly linked to Inter, AC, Barcelona, Marseille and virtually every other European club worth mentioning. Yesterday, however, Chelsea may have been given the biggest indication of his intention to stay in the UK yet, as he had a convertible Mercedes SLR delivered to his Surrey mansion. The car appears to be right-hand drive with British plates, suggesting he wishes to stay here and pay the extortionate amount required to keep it taxed and on the road.”
