NASCAR seems to be throwing up more than its fair share of pretty ladies who are inexplicably attracted to slightly overweight unspectacular-looking men, and today we reveal one more: Tara Roquemore. When she met Tony Stewart in 2006 at Home Depot (who sponsor his team), they were dubbed ‘TNT’ by the media, and their relationship justifiably explosive, as they split in 2007. However, it seems a reconciliation may be on the cards, as they were spotted together again earlier this year.
Turkish journalists under fire saved by trusty 4×4
This scary-as-hell video, shown on Turkish TV last week, showed reporters from two stations ducking for cover and saying last prayers as their Land Rover came under attack in war-torn Georgia.
One reporter was shot in the head in the attack but his injuries were not life-threatening. All the journalists involved made it home safely to Turkey.
The Land Rover has since been awarded a medal for bravery.
