Nike ad’s first take didn’t go as planned…

Here’s LA Lakers star Kobe Bryant’s first attempt at jumping a moving Aston Martin for a Nike ad (see the finished ad here).

We laughed.

We don’t doubt that Bryant, who stands 6ft 6in tall, is athletic enough to pull off a stunt like this. But we do doubt that his employers, the Los Angeles Lakers, would let him even try. The clip is a viral ad for Nike’s new Hyperdunk b-ball shoes, or “sneakers” as we understand they’re called in the States.

Verdict: The stunt is fake. You just got Nike’d!
