World championship leader Lewis Hamilton posted the quickest time on the final day of the three-day test meeting at Monza. Hamilton’s McLaren was nearly half a second quicker than his nearest rival, dirty stop out Kimi Raikkonen in the Ferrari. The only bad news for Hamilton was that both Nick Heidfeld’s BMW and Nico Rosberg’s Williams beat his time of 1:22.967 during yesterday’s session.
The test has been an opportunity for all of the F1 teams to work an their aerodynamic low-downforce packages ahead of the Italian Grand Prix in two weeks time. Full listings of the final day times after the jump…

MONZA TESTING
Ferrari’s test warning to McLaren

Following the morning session of yesterday’s Formula One test at Monza, we informed you that the Williams of Nico Rosberg was the quickest man on the track. Ferrari’s Felipe Massa continued his wonderful recent run by topping the timesheets for the first day of testing. It was the teams’ first chance to test since the end of the five-week summer ban.
