The most important thing we learn from this video is that even ex-F1 drivers have to listen to their wives telling them to slow down on the roads. In this instance, Riccardo Patrese has treated his wife to a lap on the track in a Honda Civic Type R. And he has brought his hidden camera along for good measure. Mrs Patrese is given the opportunity to try out all her best swear words as her husband ignores her pleas for help!

Poor Didier Pironi led on the final lap but his car broke down in the famous tunnel. Andrea de Cesaris then stopped on the approach to the casino complex, allowing Riccardo Patrese - who had already spun out - to trundle over the finishing line in his re-started Brabham.
