Here’s a first look at Porsche’s new four-door grand tourer, the Panamera (slightly cheesy name, no?). It won’t be released until next year, when it looks set to become the supercar du jour of Premier League stars and Duncan Bannatyne-wannabes alike.
From the first official photos, it appears that the Panamera is essentially a stretched 911 - so think of it as a family friendly supercar.
Earlier today, we posted a first-look spy report of the exciting new Lotus roadster, codenamed “Project Eagle”.
To further fuel your interest in the Eagle, here’s a spy vid of the car out on the road. Car magazine claims the Eagle will cost just £40,000; we’ve heard it’ll be more like £60k.
The Spadaconcept Codatronca is essentially based on a mundane Corvette, not that you’d know it. With its head-turning, stealth-bomber styling (imagine KITT and the Batmobile had a baby), it’s one of the most talked about supercars ever made. Indeed, it features in the new Batman movie, The Dark Knight, as Bruce Wayne’s weekend drive.
The best thing about this vision in black is that it’s actually going into production, with 20 examples due to be built later this year/early 2009, reportedly priced around £250,000.
