Small bespectacled man produces two outrageously good looking daughters

In the billionaire-heiress-with-a-sister-who-is-slightly-more-famous stakes, Petra Ecclestone is certainly giving Nicky Hilton a run for her money. In case you didn’t know, along with older sis Tamara, she is the spawn of tiny little F1 head honcho Bernie Ecclestone. This means she has lots of money, a heavily-stamped passport and the beautiful genes of a former Armani model mother.

Bernie’s second greatest contribution to mankind

Mr Ecclestone’s terribly posh eldest daughter could have easily whiled away the days until she received her massive inheritance with lads mag photoshoots, fashionable parties and abhorrent boyfriends. To her credit, however, Tamara has all but shunned the Paris Hilton route in favour of earning her own crust: the 24-year-old beauty has landed a string of TV presenting jobs, most recently as a pit reporter for Sky Italia, on which she rabbits away in Italian, one of three languages she speaks fluently.

Tamara Ecclestone, eldest daughter of Wee Bernie, has followed in the bare footsteps of almost every supermodel in history by getting naked for anti-fur campaigner PETA.

The heiress said she supported the campaign because wearing fur is, like, terrible, yah:

“I enjoy going to fashion shows and I enjoy seeing what’s new and fantastic but I just don’t understand how fur is necessarily fashionable…  I just think it’s terrible to harm living animals all in the name of vanity… it’s completely unnecessary.”

Wee Bernie’s daughter lands job as paddock reporter

Tamara Ecclestone has bagged a full-time (ahem) job working for Italian broadcaster Sky, as a paddock reporter on the prowl for “interesting tales to tell”. She presents in Italian, one of three languages in which she is fluent - English and Croatian (from her mother, Slavica) are the others.

“I want a career, a proper one,” Tamara says in her best Kensington accent. “I want to show people that I actually do something and that I’m good at it. I don’t want to be a version of anyone else. People are already keen to draw comparisons with me and Paris Hilton, for example. That’s not me. I want there to be more to my life than being famous for getting out of a car with no knickers on.”

The most amusing sight in F1 is wee Bernie Ecclestone (5ft 3in on a good day) walking around the paddock with his 6ft 2in ex-model wife, Slavica. Born in Croatia (then Yugoslavia) in 1958, Slavica is a giant of a woman. We also imagine she refers to everyone as “Dahhhling” in a heavy east-European accent.

We’ve already featured Petra’s older sister, Tamara, and now it’s the turn of Bernie & Slavica’s youngest daughter. Petra, 19, is just your average billionaire heiress – she wants to be a fashion designer, and has recently started working with Savile Row tailor Edward Sexton, who just happens to make suits for little Bernie Ecclestone – ah, we love the smell of nepotism in the morning.
