She’s cute and she’s a better driver than you

Carmen Jorda is 20 years old and cuter than a basketful of kittens. She drives in Spanish F3 for the Campos Racing team, which means she’s also more talented than a basketful of kittens. Last season, she finished fourth in the Spanish F3 Cup.

Carmen qualifies as a WAG because she’s going out with Superbikes rider Fonsi Nieto. The pair have just announced their engagement, so Carmen is off the market. Doh.

Nascar star’s former squeeze likes to get nekkid

This is Amanda Beard (not to be confused with Amanda Huginkiss). She’s a very successful Olympic swimmer, winning seven medals from 1996-2008.

But what’s she doing on Gridcrasher, you ask? Well, she used to get jiggy with Nascar star Carl Edwards, which is more than enough to qualify her as a Grid WAG. That and the fact she has taken her clothes off for Playboy.

This has to be the scariest picture we’ve seen since Robert Kubica last took off his crash helmet (note to our Polish readers: that’s what we like to call ‘a joke’). You might recognise the poser in the trunks as Rhydian Roberts, the weirdo singer who came second in last year’s X Factor.

Anyhow, news reaches us that Rhydian has the major hots for Nicole Scherzinger, aka Lewis Hamilton’s WAG. Be afraid Lewis, be very afraid.

“She’s the fittest woman I’ve ever met – and I got to sing with her,” an overexcited Rhydian revealed to the Sunday Mercury.

“I know she’s going out with Lewis, so I didn’t overstep the mark. But she was rather flirty.”

Stalker alert.

Lewis honoured by the Germans

Lewis Hamilton received a Special Prize from the jury at the annual Bambi awards (Germany’s equivalent of the Oscars). Lewis was hounoured for his “charisma and his youthful charm which made him the new superstar of Formula 1.”

The world champion was handed his shiny Bambi by Dutch football WAG Sylvie van der Vaart, the not-unpretty wife of Real Madrid midfielder Rafael van der Vaart. And yes, Van der Vaart is a mildly amusing surname.

“I think this is my first award I’m collecting since after the last Grand Prix,” Hamilton said on the red carpet after the event. The first of many this awards season, we don’t doubt.
